Before reaching out, review these answers to questions we receive most often from enterprises, financial institutions, and fintech startups evaluating our payment orchestration, open banking API, SME finance workflow, and regtech platform modules.

Is FinEdgeTech a crypto exchange or get-rich trading programme?

No. FinEdgeTech is a B2B financial technology provider headquartered in One-North, Singapore. We build and integrate software for digital payment orchestration, open banking API connectivity, SME finance workflow platforms, and regtech compliance dashboards. We do not operate a cryptocurrency exchange, sell digital tokens through ICOs, provide forex or CFD trading signals, or promote get-rich-quick investment schemes. Our business model is enterprise fintech software licensing and professional integration services — not retail trading or speculative investment products. If you are looking for a trading platform or investment returns, FinEdgeTech is not the right provider. We serve businesses and financial institutions that need reliable financial technology infrastructure.

Are you a licensed bank or financial adviser in Singapore?

FinEdgeTech Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202813579M) is a technology provider registered with ACRA. We are not a licensed bank, deposit-taking institution, capital markets services holder, or financial adviser under MAS regulations unless explicitly updated on our legal page with valid licence numbers. We provide financial technology software and integration services — our platforms facilitate workflows but do not themselves constitute regulated financial activities. Clients who use our technology for licensed activities (such as lending, payment services, or investment management) remain responsible for obtaining and maintaining their own MAS licences and regulatory compliance. For detailed licensing disclaimers, please refer to our legal information and terms of use pages.

How long does API integration typically take?

Integration timelines depend on scope and complexity. A standard open banking API integration with sandbox setup and basic production deployment typically requires four to eight weeks. Payment orchestration platform deployments connecting multiple rails may take eight to twelve weeks. Full fintech platform implementations combining several modules can extend to twelve to sixteen weeks or longer for enterprise environments with extensive customisation requirements. We provide indicative timelines during the technical discovery workshop phase. Sandbox environments are typically available within one to two weeks of project kickoff, allowing your engineering team to begin parallel development early in the engagement.

How does FinEdgeTech handle data security and PDPA compliance?

FinEdgeTech processes personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and guidelines issued by the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC). We implement encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, audit logging, and regular security assessments. Personal data collected through demo requests and support channels is used only for stated purposes with explicit consent. Data retention periods are defined in our privacy policy. Clients deploying our platforms remain data controllers for end-user data processed through their applications and must configure platform settings to meet their own PDPA obligations. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

What is the MAS regulatory context for your fintech solutions?

FinEdgeTech provides technology that may be used by clients operating in regulated financial services sectors in Singapore. Our solutions are designed with compliance-aware features such as audit trails, configurable workflow rules, and regtech dashboard modules aligned with industry practice. However, we do not provide legal or regulatory advice, and our technology does not substitute for MAS licensing where required. Different modules may touch different regulatory frameworks — payment services, lending, data sharing — depending on how clients deploy them. We recommend clients consult qualified legal and compliance professionals and refer to MAS guidelines at mas.gov.sg for activities requiring licensing. Our role is to deliver reliable financial technology infrastructure; regulatory responsibility for licensed activities rests with the client.

What are your indicative pricing tiers in SGD?

Platform module pricing starts from approximately S$1,600/month for analytics tiers up to S$4,500/month for open banking connectivity tiers, with enterprise pricing scaled by transaction volume, API call volume, and connected rail count. Professional services range from S$4,500 for a technical discovery workshop to S$85,000+ for full platform implementation projects. Managed platform support retainers start from S$3,500/month. All figures are indicative and subject to scoping — we provide formal quotations after understanding your specific fintech requirements. Contact us for a demo and tailored SGD pricing estimate.

Do you provide sandbox environments for development and testing?

Yes. Sandbox environments are a standard part of our API deployment and platform implementation services. Sandboxes simulate production API behaviour with test credentials, mock financial institution responses, and sample transaction data. This allows your engineering team to develop and test integrations without affecting live systems or real customer data. Sandbox access is typically provisioned within one to two weeks of project initiation. Transition from sandbox to production requires completion of UAT cycles, security review, and compliance sign-off by your team.

What support SLAs do you offer?

Managed platform support retainers include defined response time SLAs based on tier selection. Standard tier provides business-hours incident response (Mon–Fri 09:00–18:00 SGT) with a target first response within four business hours for priority issues. Premium tiers offer extended hours and faster response targets. Platform infrastructure under our management scope targets 99.5% uptime SLA. Support scope covers platform availability, patch management, and API version updates — not client-side application bugs or third-party financial institution API outages beyond our control.

What does FinEdgeTech NOT do?

We do not provide investment advice or guaranteed investment returns. We do not guarantee loan approvals or credit decisions — our SME finance workflow engine facilitates processes but does not make lending decisions. We do not offer forex trading signals, cryptocurrency exchange services, or MLM programmes. We do not provide legal advice on KYC/AML, MAS licensing, or regulatory compliance — technology outputs require human review and qualified professional sign-off. We do not claim official partnership with MAS, DBS, OCBC, UOB, or PayNow unless formally authorised. We are a financial technology provider, not a licensed financial institution.

What is the scope of your open banking connectivity?

Our open banking API connectivity layer supports integration with financial institution API endpoints for account information, payment initiation, and transaction data retrieval — subject to institution availability and client authorization. We handle authentication flows, request routing, response normalisation, and error handling. Scope varies by participating bank and API version. We do not guarantee connectivity to all Singapore banks or all API products offered by any institution. Clients must obtain necessary data sharing consents from end users and comply with PDPA requirements. Production API credentials are obtained through the client's own agreements with financial institutions.

Financial technology disclaimer FinEdgeTech provides financial technology software and integration services. We are not a licensed bank, deposit-taking institution, capital markets services holder, or financial adviser unless explicitly stated with valid licence numbers.
